Azi graduated, summa cum laude, from Rutgers University in 2004. He received his law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 2007 where he was a recipient of the Francis J. Mulderig National Scholarship. Azi is admitted to the New Jersey and New York Bars, and focuses his practice on trusts and estates and tax law. While at Fordham, Azi was a member of the Urban Law Journal and completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Ruth Pickholz of New York Supreme Court.
