We represent owners, operators, developers, investors, major tenants, and lending institutions in real estate assignments that range from acquisition and development through financing and lease-up to syndication, securitization, and ultimate disposition. Projects are as diverse as apartment complexes, single-family and condominium housing developments, office buildings, recreational facilities, shopping centers, industrial facilities and raw land.

Representative Transactions
- Represented a major real estate developer in connection with the sale (directly and through joint ventures) of a portfolio of 15 properties located along the Hudson River waterfront and in the greater Boston area for development as approximately 2,500 condominium homesites and over 300 apartments (for conversion to condominiums).
- Represented a joint venture among a number of major New Jersey real estate developers and a major life insurance company in connection with the joint venture arrangements, equity financing and over $200,000,000 of construction financing for the development of residential rental towers in Jersey City, New Jersey.
- Represented a major New Jersey real estate developer in connection with the sale to a major nationwide home builder of five (5) parcels of Hudson County waterfront land for residential development, in phases, for a base purchase price of $134 million.
- Outside counsel for a major New Jersey real estate developer in connection with the joint venture arrangements and acquisition/construction financing for a number of residential condominium towers in New York City.
- Represented a New York City based investor/developer in connection with the acquisition, financing, environmental clean up; leasing and ultimate disposition of one million square feet of industrial/warehouse space in Wharton, New Jersey.
- Handled all securities, corporate and real estate law aspects of roll up of 26 limited partnerships into an UPREIT entity owning over 4,000 apartment units, continued to represent the UPREIT as it acquired more rental properties and ultimately represented the UPREIT in the sale of the entire portfolio for consideration of approximately $250 million.
- Represented a major New Jersey real estate developer in connection with its land acquisition and $85 million construction loan to build a multi-family, residential real estate project in suburban Essex County, New Jersey.
- Represented a major New Jersey real estate developer in connection with the joint venture and governmental arrangements for the acquisition and construction financing for a “transit-village” development in Morristown, New Jersey.
- Counsel for a major commercial landlord in the re-leasing of 180,000 square feet of space vacated by Linens 'N Things during its bankruptcy.
- Represented a major New Jersey real estate developer in connection with the joint venture arrangements and acquisition/construction financing for an urban, mixed use rental, for-sale and retail project in Morristown, New Jersey.
- Represented a major life insurance company as lender of a mortgage loan secured by the Marriott Glenpointe Hotel in Teaneck, New Jersey.
- Represented a New York City based investor/developer in connection with the acquisition, financing and leasing of over 360,000 square feet of office/flex space in Central New Jersey.
