Larry Orloff, a co-founder of the Firm, has functioned as one of the leading litigators in the State for many years.  He has received Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Essex County Bar Association and the New Jersey Law Journal, awards that are given to a very limited number of attorneys.  He is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers; has also been listed in the Best Lawyers in America every year since 1989 in the area of Business Litigation/Commercial Litigation, and, over many years, in the category of  Bet the Company business litigation.

Larry's practice focuses on closely held business, commercial, shareholder, and partnership disputes; probate litigation; and real estate litigation.  He has also been involved in the representation of lawyers and law firms, both in the defense of legal malpractice actions and in law firm break up proceedings.  He represented a prominent private wealth management firm in litigation and arbitration arising out of the Bernard Madoff scandal.

Larry also represented owners of a vast local airport property in successfully resisting the pretextual condemnation of their property by the municipality, a thirteen-year battle that twice traversed both trial and appellate courts.
